Balanced Diet on Food Bank Staples

Join registered dietician and trained chef, Andrea, to learn about building healthy meals and diets using food bank staples.

Andrea, a trained chef and registered dietician, is joining us on zoom to discuss building healthy meals/diets using foodbank staples. She will be exploring topics such as:

  • Different sources of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats that you can find in foodbanks
  • How you can combine these items to build balanced meals
  • Cost-friendly ways to ‘upgrade’ your meals

Meet Andrea:

Andrea is a passionate Registered Dietitian, dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of others. Andrea has a culinary and nutrition background, specializing in Women’s Health and family nutrition, as well plant-based diets. She strives to provide optimal recommendations and is committed to person-centred care, making goals for each unique individual.
