“Battle of the mind” and “fear of rejection” are mental and emotional health concepts and are often associated with social situations and interpersonal relationships. In the workshop you will explore each of these aspects:
1. Battle of the Mind:
This term refers to the mental and emotional challenges a person may face in his or her daily life. It can include internal struggles, negative thoughts, self-doubt, anxiety and other mental problems.
Strategies to address the battle of the mind include mindfulness practice, cognitive-behavioural therapy, emotional support and the development of coping skills.
2. Fear of Rejection:
Fear of rejection is a common emotion experienced by many people. It arises from the fear of being excluded, disapproved of, or not accepted by others. This fear can be paralyzing and can influence decision-making, participation in social situations, and the building ofinterpersonal relationships. The fear of rejection is often linked to self-esteem and self-image. Past experiences of rejection may intensify this fear.
