Do you have someone to make decisions for you if you are unable to? What happens to your property when you die?
Join us for a virtual workshop led by a lawyer from Halton Community Legal Services to learn how to plan for when you can’t make decisions yourself.
Halton Community Legal Services is a legal clinic that has been providing high quality legal assistance to low-income individuals in the Halton community for over 40 years. They provide free legal assistance in areas of law which particularly affect low-income individuals or disadvantaged communities, such as legal matters related to housing and shelter, employment standards, income maintenance, entitlement to social assistance and other similar government programs. In addition, they educate the public about their legal rights through public legal education workshops and engage in law reform to try to improve laws, regulations or policies of government that impact their clients.
