Writing Through Loss and Grief 6-Week Series

Join Shannon once a week on zoom and learn to use writing as an emotional outlet for grief and loss.

A bout the Program:

Are you currently struggling with grief? Have you lost someone special to you, whether through death or a change in circumstances? Perhaps you’ll find a sense of support and solace in our upcoming workshop: “Writing Through Grief & Loss.”

In these 90-minute virtual session you will have the opportunity to connect with others who are also experiencing grief. Each week you will be guided through a variety of creative and reflective writing exercises to help you work through your own personal grief journey. You will have the option to engage with others as much or as little as you like and sharing your writing is always optional but never required. Shannon’s goal is to create a safe and supportive space to come as you are, write how you feel, and be in the company of others who can relate.

Please note:

The event details show that the workshops take place on May 1st but this is a 6-week series. Signing up for this session effectively signs you up for all 6 sessions that take place on May 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th and June 5th

Meet Shannon:

Shannon (she/her) is a married mom of three teens and one fur-son. She works as a freelance writer, mainly for lifestyle and parenting publications. She is also a registered psychotherapist and holds a special interest in supporting clients through grief, loss, and transitional stages.
